Python is one of the most widely general-purpose used programming languages with no less than 8.2 million WEB developers using it in 2019 according to SlashData. It offers a complete development environment including a powerful interpreter and numerous modules.

Python is an interpreted, dynamically typed and garbage-collected programming language which supports multiple programming paradigms, including structured (particularly, procedural), object-oriented and imperative programming. Born from the Amoeba operating system (1990), it was designed by Guido Van Rossum at the CWI at Amstedam University.

An undeniable advantage is Python availability on the majority of common operating systems such as Unix, Mac OS X, Windows or BeOS and its performance on most computer platforms, from smartphones to computers.

Offering high-level tools and an easy-to-use syntax (separated from low-level mechanisms unlike in C or C ++ programming languages), Python is designed to optimize and increase the productivity of programmers and allows an easy introduction to basic programming concepts.
